TDC II was created in 2002 as an apprentice program to the main Company.

The training for this young ensemble is modeled after the rigors of the main Company and is administered with the concept of moving the dancers once they have mastered the necessary skills.

TDC II secures its own choreography from the same guest artist pool as TDC. Where possible, TDC II is integrated with the main Company. Like TDC, TDC II is audition based, however the program holds a smaller roster of dancers and the age range is 9-14.
